Knock, knock, knock, come right in! You're the people from the looney bin!
This page has Al's social media, links to Al's associates (and other funny musicians), YT channels related to Al, other Weird Al fansites, and some misc. stuff. Enjoy the walk if you decide to click on anything below.
Where to Find Al
Friends of Al (at least tangentially so)
Weird Archivists
- EvilUncleFrank and AL-TUBE, a (mostly) complete collection of Al on tape.
- Channel 27 (the YT channel, not the fansite) and all the demos + instrumentals you could ever want.
- Weird Al Stuff 2 and various Al goodies (plus more instrumentals. Delicious.).
- 60PercentChanceofRain and footage of Weird Al playing live (look at him on that synth!).
- Weird Al Archive, which is exactly as it says on the tin.
- Weird Al Yankovic Countdowns AND MORE, with various clips of Al voice acting + recordings of live rarities.
- dysequilibrium and an extensive amount of Al clips. One of my favorites, if I'm being honest.
- Molly, and plenty of footage of Al playing live.
- Yet Another "Weird Al" Yankovic Archive Channel, 44Nifty's own channel of Weird Al archivery, plus a few other things. Check it out!
- Music Television Promo Lover and full (as YT will allow; the unedited versions are in the description of each video) vidchecks of AL-TV, and MTV in general.
- Mei Clover and Lestatkatt's Channel...aren't exclusively Weird Al, but are archives of off-mainstream music.
- There's plenty of other ones, I'm sure, but you can find them elsewhere.
Other Fansites (note that most of these are now inactive. Pity...)
- Channel 27 (the fansite, not the YT channel), which inspired me to make my own Weird Al fansite in the first place. Give them a visit, won't you?
- Al-oholics Anonymous, one of the oldest Al fansites (1994!!). It contains plenty of old school Al goodies and is only slightly broken. (...Okay, well, mainly broken, but nothing a trip to the Wayback Machine can't fix.)
- Yankovic!, a parody of Yahoo! with 100% more Al.
- Weirdness Central, your one stop shop for gener-Al info.
- We've Got it All on UHF/Al's Star Fund, a neat site or two of various Al goodies (AND a funded star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!).
- All Things Yankovic, a premier of Al content...just as long as you're content with websites that haven't updated since 2014.
- UHF: 15 Years of Drinking from the Firehose, All Things Yankovic's sister site of sorts about the comedy film flop of 1989.
- Tulsa TV Memories, another site about UHF, and one that really gets into the fine details of it.
- The Great Weird Al Word Count, which is...exactly what it says on the tin.
- The Prince of Parodies, Hotel XVR27's Weird Al section and a collection of 2000s/2010s Yankotext (including the lyrics to a variety of songs, even some of his unreleased ones!).
- Polka Page, a collection of nice pictures and artwork. I recommend checking the archived version of it to see some stuff that isn't available on the main site anymore.
- The Church of Yankovia, an attempt at mystifying AL. It's a pretty darn good attempt, too! (Note: this, and all the links below it, is/are from the Wayback Machine, so beware of broken images/links.)
- weirdal.org, not to be confused with weirdal.com. Has a very aesthetically pleasing layout.
- frivALity, with a variety of fun (or perhaps just peculiar) things to read.
