News for December 2023 and January 2024
- Jaunary 14, 2024: I finished Dare to be Stupid (the album, not the song), and now it's got an update to accommodate that. Check it out, won't you?
- Jaunary 8, 2024: After 7 months or so of kind of just forgetting to do it, I now have a site map! Joy.
- January 2, 2024: As a result of my old Al fansite web surfing shenanigans, I've put a few of the more intriguing ones on the Links page.
- December 31, 2023: Happy New Years, everyone. See you all on the other side!
- December 25, 2023: Merry Christmas, everyone! See you all later, I'm busy celebrating. (Oh, and I finished the Christmas surprise. Enjoy!)
- December 22, 2023: Also, I finally finished the album enthusiasm blinkies! Think of it as an early present.
- December 20, 2023: Nothing really new here, just wanted everyone to know there'll be a Christmas surprise on this site in 5 day's time. Have fun!
- December 7, 2023: My Top Ten Weird Al-bum Covers list is finished! Huzzah!
- December 2, 2023: MERRY CHRISTMAS! (Ignore the fact that it's the 2nd. That's not relevant.) To celebrate the season, I got a new marquee.
News for October and November 2023
- November 30, 2023: With the help of EZ Gallery, I have a way to make image thumbnails! However, those thumbnails won't be finished until (at least) later today. I tend to be busy on weekdays. (And as of this writing, I added a basic thumbnail image to both Collection pages and the Archive. I may or may not get around to making more specific ones.)
- November 27, 2023: Two new, big updates: finally getting around to splitting the Collection page and (because of the sporatic updating) fusing some of the monthly news together. Hopefully, I'll at least get Polka Party!'s famed Christmas carol reviewed before time's up.
- October 30, 2023: To my surprise, I finished the Halloween gift in time! I'll be uploading it here tomorrow afternoon, don't you worry. In the meantime, why don't you enjoy the other nonsense this site has to offer?
- October 25, 2023: New links for the link god! Also, I do have something planned for this site on Halloween (aside from a new marquee), so look forward to that!
- October 9, 2023: The Dare to be Stupid review is FINISHED! Now, to work on some of the other stuff I've been neglecting...
- October 8, 2023: NEW MERCH, EVERYONE! Oh yeah, and more progress on that Dare to be Stupid review. That too.
- October 4, 2023: In the Halloween spirit, the directory marquee has been changed to a lyric from "Virus Alert" — my favorite one, in fact!
- October 1, 2023: I decided to move the non-Neocites supported parts of the Archive (read: plain text stuff) to a Google Doc. Not really sure why I didn't think of that before.
News for August and September 2023
- September 29, 2023: NEW ART PAGE! FINALLY!!!
- September 27, 2023: It may not look like it, but I AM still working on the Dare to be Stupid review. I've just been working on other things. Anyways, happy Weird Al Wednesday!
- September 18, 2023: Still working on the Dare to be Stupid review. Forgave "Nature Trail to Hell". Added some more blinkies. You know how it is.
- September 3, 2023: The images for the Site Info, Transcripts and Misc pages were added.
- September 2, 2023: I finally got around to making that top ten list addendum! Joyous days. Plus, the top ten list itself was edited to be (slightly) more coherent. (Oh yeah, and the Harrison transcript is done now. That's probably important, too.)
- August 28, 2023: That George Harrison transcript is...still under construction, but I do have two more lyric mashups made.
- August 21, 2023: School's back in session for me starting tomorrow, so A) updates will be even more hectic than usual and B) the Toliet Hell Tuesday marquee will be set up earlier than usual until next school break. Send me some blessings, won't you?
- August 17, 2023: I finally finished the in 3-D review! I'm just glad I got it done before school started.
- August 12, 2023: Things are looking up! I've added more links, the "Weird Al" Yankovic in 3-D review is getting closer to finished, and I've decided the next interview to transcribe/comment on (George Harrison)! Yes, we are the lucky ones...
- August 9, 2023: The Lyric Mashup page has been made, with three songs to start off with! Glad to see the Misc page has some (proper) content now.
- August 3, 2023: The FAQ part of the Archive was slightly overhauled (mainly to make it easier to read).
News for July 2023
- July 31, 2023: I've decided to put the news in these handy summary boxes from now on. Takes up much less room, no? I also decided to vamp up the directory a bit, with the site buttons now on the main page!
- July 29, 2023: Since I got my hands on Poodle Hat, it's added to my Collection page. Cheers!
- July 23, 2023: I'm baa-ack! (Home, that is.) Out of my newfound love of categorizing things, I've decided to split the Rankings page into three (along with some other edits).
- July 21, 2023: The Scale of Weird Al Song Obscurity has been added to the site and linked on the Misc. page. I'll be away from my computer for a while, so expect text-only updates for the next few days.
- July 20, 2023: General quality-of-life updates. No more counter, though. (Time to find a new one...) But hey, at least we have a proper Misc. page now!
- July 19, 2023: After a week or so of messing around, I finally finished my top ten polka medleys! What a treat.
- July 18, 2023: Joyous news, everyone! It's not only Toliet Hell Tuesday, but a reformatted site and a day closer to a finished top ten list! Thanks for thr burst of energy, Data!
- July 16, 2023: I've added buttons to the main page! Format overhauling is now offically in progress, so expect a few things to not quite look right. (Also, there isn't a Misc page yet, so it just links to the Not Found page. Sorry!) Plus, more links and questions for the FAQ.
- July 15, 2023: Now I have an actual view counter, courtesy of WebsiteOut's hit counter.
- July 14, 2023: A Transcripts page was made, but not linked to the main page. Will I finish a top ten list or a transcript first? Vote now on your phones! And, more questions on the FAQ and updates for my About Me! (Note: you can't actually vote for this. Sorry.) (By the way, it turned out to be the Paul McCartney interview. I'm keeping the old description up though because I think it's funny.)
- July 12, 2023: Bad news! Still no finished transcripts. Good news! A brand-new FAQ page, with some questions about the site and a few of its pages.
- July 10, 2023: Lo and behold, the first review of the Weird Al Audio Collection was released! Since I have that out of the way (for now), I'll start working on those comedic transcripts...
- July 9, 2023: The Collection page was finally updated with...my very first accordion! Joyous days.
- July 8, 2023: You know the drill: still working on ranking things and making quality-of-life updates. On the bright side, I've learned the joys of drawing in MS Paint. It's good; try it sometime. More importantly, I made an Art page and linked it instead of Blinkies (don't worry, you can still find them inside the Art hall).
- July 7, 2023: The main page and my About Me have been updated to reflect how long this site's been taking to set up.
- July 6, 2023: A new link was added to the Links page.
- July 5, 2023: The Blinkies page was created and added to the main page, with four beautiful blinkies to choose from. Now that's progress. Also, I have one of those marquees now; the beginning of "Patterns" sung by (who else?) Weird Al! Fitting, no?
- July 4, 2023: The Rankings page finally had something added to it and I finally added an image to my About Me. Cheer for the small victories.
- July 3, 2023: The Rankings page was linked on the main page - although with only one working link! It shouldn't be too long before I finish up some of the stuff there...
- July 2, 2023: The Links page is finally working and now linked on the main page. The Rankings page and some of its subpages were created, although very much under construction. The Collection page was reorganized a bit. Plus, the site got some better formating!
- July 1, 2023: The site was created and three links were added to the main page: About Me, My Collection, and News. A Links page existed, but it wasn't finished yet.
